XBOX 360 Class Action Lawsuit

Microsoft is facing another class action lawsuit over its Xbox 360 console and allegations of faultiness. This time, the suit centers on the Fall Update and claims that patch caused total system failure for some gamers.
The lawsuit comes out of California where gamer Kevin Ray is seeking out more than $5 million in damages and the free repair of all consoles messed up by the update.
Microsoft tried to charge $140 to fix the machine.
Ray claims the updated “bricked” his console and he’s certain it’s happened to others.
Microsoft, for its part, has acknowledged the problem and promised to fix consoles impacted by the update. Where this suit will go is anyone’s guess, but Microsoft has done a pretty good job in the past of stepping up to the plate to fix things (when pressure was applied).

I personally have never had a problem with my 360. However, it is a shame so many gamers seem to be facing issues with their systems. Hopefully in the future things of this nature won’t happen.
