Dual Tuner Hauppauge WinTV Nova-t 500
Hauppauge Digital has released a dual tuner single slot PC add-on card for Windows PCs. The new PCI video recorder card is called The Hauppauge WinTV Nova-t 500. It is currently priced at £99.99 inc VAT. The card is specially designed to integrate with the new Microsoft Windows Media Centre. The Hauppauge Nova-T 500 MCE provides outstanding picture quality with a Dual Digital TV Tuner for simultaneous recording of two TV channels at the same time. This new TV Tuner PC Card gives you the option of watching TV on one channel while recording on the second tuner, or if you wish you can record on both tuners! The Nova-T 500 also supports DVB-T Radio listening and both standard and high-definition video broadcasts. Included with the package comes its own TV viewing software, allowing any Windows XP user to watch /record TV and access a 7-day programme guide (EPG). Also included is a remote control.
The coolest part of the Nova-t 500 comes from the inclusion of Hauppauge’s WingSE software, which enables recorded TV to be transferred onto Sony PSP devices and video iPods. The software optimises the recordings to save space on the target device, whilst utilising its maximum display capabilities.
