SD Storage eInk Info Card

The Taiwanese company A DATA has announced that come CES 2007 the Info eInk SD Card will be released. Each Info SD Card will have a tiny eInk display which shows how much storage room you have left on the memory card. The SD card’s display is bi-layer, which means it needs no power source to keep the eInk display screen running. The SD Card can continually print to the storage display screen without needing to be recharged or plugged in. The storage capacity is updated once you place your data onto the Digital Display SD Storage Device.
No official pricing structure for the Secure Digital Info Card w/ Display has been released yet. However we should be expecting to pay a little bit more than the price for an average SD storage Card. Technology and convenience does not come cheap. If you’re visiting CES 2007, be sure to stop by the A DATA Booth to check out their fancy new compact digital storage devices.
