- Yesterday was my birthday, and
EBGames was kind enough to deliver Operation
Flashpoint to my front door first thing in the morning.
This game is absolutely awesome, and made a great birthday surprise.

Awesome
World War II Online video
08/22/01 9:30 PM Eastern |
- A World
War II Online player named Trinity made an incredible looking
video of the life of an infantryman in the game.
Here is the link
for the downloads. First1.mpg is the larger version, and
First2.mpg the smaller version. If you have a slow internet
connection, this download is definitely worth the wait! This video
could be a great commercial for the game.
- Sudden
Strike Forever, and Arcanum
have both been released.

New
review for Alone in the Dark 4
07/26/01 11:00 PM Eastern |
- We just posted our latest review
for Alone in the Dark: The
new Nightmare.
- Virus warning!
There is an email virus spreading rapidly
around the net that says something like 'Hi! How are you? I send you
this file for your advice. Thank you.' Delete this file immediately,
and DO NOT click on the attachment. I have gotten over 60 of these
emails so far in the last week. You should never open email
attachments unless your 100% sure their safe. Just because the email
is from someone you trust is no reason to open it. Many of these
viruses get sent out to emails in your address book, and to people
you trust. Be careful.

World
War II Online troubles
07/19/01 6:30 PM Eastern
|
- It has been over a month since the
release of World
War II Online, and the game is still having major problems.
The developers have been talking about a patch for weeks now, and
everyday it seems more players are spending their time on the
message board waiting for the patch, than playing the game. After
weeks of waiting it looks like the patch has been pushed back
another week, since they seem to have a crazy rule of not releasing
patches on Fridays. The message board exploded with angry posts
today when CRS
posted that the patch would be delayed AGAIN. After all this time
since the games release the game is still not playable for many
players who are having problems staying connected.
- In light of the problems with World
War II Online, here is an absolutely
hilarious MP3 that someone made. I can't stop laughing every time I
hear it. I am not sure who the author is, or I would give them
credit. Whether your a player or not, it is hilarious to listen to.
Download it here. The MP3 is entitled 'The
making of World War II Online in 60 seconds'.

Patch
section gets a new
look
07/18/01 6:00 PM Eastern |
- Just found out that MechCommander 2
also shipped yesterday.
- Thanks
go to Edric for
revamping our whole patch section. There are lots of new
additions, as well as a face lift for the whole patch section. We
will be putting the patch request form back online that proved to
be popular in the past. We hope to have the request form up as
soon as possible.
- I
want to apologize for the lack of updates lately. Several issues
have kept me from making updates recently. One of them has been
some technical problems where all the text in all applications on
my home computer has turned bold! So far no one has been able to
help me with this problem, and I would greatly appreciate any help
anyone can offer.
- World
War II Online has been keeping me very busy too when it comes
to playing games. Because of this new game I am closing my Ultima
Online accounts out forever. The game still has tons of bugs
but a new patch is expected at any time. One of the enjoyments of
an online game is joining a guild or squad, and I have found a
great squad to play with. The group is Sturmgrenadier,
and they play on the German side of the
game. They are one of the largest squads in the game, and a good
group of players.
- There have not
been any new games shipping lately. Finally, Empire
of the Ants and The
Nations shipped
in the last two days.
- I added a link on
the right side of the page to the top 100 game sites. Please use
that link to vote for us by visiting their site. Thank you.
