Pop-star Britney Spears recently submitted a job application to become a bartender at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. Sources say that a conversation started between Britney Spears and a bartender at the Cameo Bar which lead to the pop star asking for a job application to become a bartender. The application was obtained from a night manager in the Hotel. The current status of the application is unknown. The application is currently with Human Resources awaiting review.

This might be the worst possible job for a mother trying to regain custody of her children, who is required to undergo drug and alcohol testing. Britney Spears checked out the next morning. No word yet if the hotel is considering putting Britney behind the bar.

It is being reported that Britney Spears is turning to medication to help her get thru her recent divorce situation. The 25 year old pop star has been seen carrying around multiple types of anti-depressant pills in her handbag. The source claimed to have seen a lot of Antidepressants variations. “There was a bottle of Paxil, an antidepressant, and a bottle of Xanax, which treats anxiety, that she took out and put on the counter.”

The directions for both these drugs state they should not be mixed with alcohol.

Britney - mother to 15-month-old Sean Preston and three-month-old Jayden James - has now promised to curb her hard partying and apologised to her fans.

Britney Spears is planning to auction off some of the items in her closet and donate the funds to her charity. Spears is set to hold an online auction to raise money for the Britney Spears Children Foundation Charity. The organization provides help for children in need.

Last night, the American Music Awards gave the industry’s stars a chance to shine bright, and gave Britney Spears a chance to step back into the spotlight, sans Kevin Federline (K-Fed). What Britney wasn’t expecting at the AMA’s was a skit lampooning her ex-husband, Kevin Federline (K-Fed).

The American Music Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, consistently use skits add humor to the show, as well as their use to fill time. However, one such skit put on my AMA host Jimmy Kimmel seems to have ruffled a few of Britney Spears‘ feathers. It started off with Kimmel calling the fledgling rapper “the world’s first no-hit wonder”, then a Kevin Federline (K-Fed) lookalike was locked in a “soundproof box and was wheeled off-stage. The box was taken from the Shrine Auditorium, loaded onto a truck and abruptly thrown off the docks of San Pedro, California. As TMZ elaborates, Jimmy Kimmel promised that the skit would be Kevin Federline (K-Fed)’s “last time appearing on American television,” and after the faux K-Fed was dumped, Kimmel remarked that “a whole school of fish just got pregnant.”
