Want to know what was going through Britney Spears’ head during her darkest days? Tune in to MTV’s 90-minute exclusive documentary “Britney Spears: For the Record” to find out.

Airing Nov. 30, “For the Record” documents a three-month period of Spears’ life earlier this year, including sessions for her upcoming Jive album, “Circus,” and preparations for her appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards.

An MTV spokesperson says “no topic was off limits” during the interviews.

Britney Spears rejects driving misdemeanor plea

Britney Spears will go on trial for driving without a license next week rather than accept a plea deal her lawyer says is too harsh, the attorney said today.

Spears rejected an agreement proposed by the Los Angeles city attorney’s office, in which she would have pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor, paid a $150 fine and served 12 months’ probation, said lawyer J. Michael Flanagan. He suggested Spears was receiving tougher treatment than non-celebrity defendants.
